Provides facilities for
Smart Partners when they are in London.

Garden Room
Description:
A quiet and peaceful working room or a
place to share ideas and experiences.
Facilities:
Keep up to date with the latest CPTM news
as well as current Global affairs through taking advantage of the following
facilities: Computer / Internet Access, the CPTM diary, teleconference
facilities, Flat-screen Television (on which you can watch the news or
Footage from CPTM Dialogues, members entries on the “Living Database”, and
other Smart Partners’ activities), the latest books featured in Mihaela’s
Reading Tips (Smart Partners’ Newsline). From this space you can also have
access to other services in the Hub including a hot shower if needed, a hot
or cold drink and any number of current CPTM documents. There are also two
“sleeping” chairs – should you need to take a rest during your trip to
London.
Purpose:
This is a multipurpose working room - for
“The Network” of CPTM. It can be used for formal and informal meetings or
for individual Smart Partners as an office away from home. It is where Smart
Partners seconded or attached to the Hub can be exposed to Smart Partnership
Practice. The space can also be used for hosting special occasions, lunches,
or refreshments. (We can join together in this room to toast 20 years of
“The Network”.) The room leads onto a small pleasant garden area, which
forms an additional networking space – when the London weather permits.

Green Room
Description:
A private space, for quiet study or
working sessions.
Facilities include: An antique desk,
several comfortable armchairs, laptop, teleconference facilities, the latest
books and journals featured in Mihaela’s Reading Tips (Smart Partners’
Newsline), Smart Partners’ artwork, as well as access to all other Hub
facilities.
Purpose : An
elegant room, designated for the exclusive use of Fellows, Companions,
Endowment Permanent Members to have private meetings or to seek sanctuary
from their hectic schedules.

“The Library”
Description:
A large, bright room, ideally suited for
CPTM’s formal meetings, and is easily divided into clusters for smaller
sessions.
Features:
Teleconference facilities, large flat
screen television, artefacts from the Caribbean, Africa and Asia, as well as
the CPTM Library of Books and Journals. Members are welcome to make use of
the CPTM Library for their research….
Purpose:
This room is used for many diverse
purposes, both formal and informal. It is equipped with several round tables
to encourage dialogue and frank exchanges of ideas. This is where the formal
events of CPTM take place: AGMs, High-Commissioners briefings, formal
meetings with Heads of State and Government, Networkers’ working sessions,
Think-Tanking, Audio-Visual presentations etc. It is also home to Mihaela’s
“working corner”.

Engine Room
Description :
A spacious working room for the CPTM hub
team.
Facilities include: nine workstations,
current working files, a services room and a communications room.
Purpose : The “Engine” is where you’ll find the
CPTM staff preoccupied with servicing and supporting “The Network” and
project managing the Dialogues, as well administering the Governance and
finances of CPTM Ltd. It doubles up as a meeting room for the team.
Engine - Communications Room
First point of contact for all
Networkers, Smart Partners, Visitors and CPTM Hub staff. The central
communications point for the Hub. This is also where you’ll find the CPTM
Diary.

Engine - Services Room
A fully equipped services room, where the CPTM staff do all their printing,
photocopying, scanning, faxing. It stores secure files, e-equipment, and
stationery. Facilities also includes a work station and telephone.

Chat
Room
A modern airy kitchen space, where you can
network over a cup of tea or a bite to eat, and catch up on the news of the
day. Bring your own tea, coffee, sugar, cocoa etc. to promote it to the
Network!
