Following informal Smart Cocktail previous evening, Malaysian Prime Minister, the Hon Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Razak welcomed all Smart Partners to Putrajaya, noting that Malaysia’s innovative administrative capital was an appropriate place for a Dialogue focussed on “Enhancing Smart Partnership through Socio-Economic Transformation”. Crediting his predecessor, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad, as well as the Smart Partnership Movement and CPTM, he said the LID brand was so strong that it could well withstand the change of geographical location whilst retaining the best of what the Langkawi International Dialogue had symbolized and achieved over the years. Insha’Allah, he said, LID would return to Langkawi on the next occasion.
