LABOUR LINK

Although the trade unions and labour representatives were significantly less represented as a group in the Dialogue series, efforts were made to establish the Labour Link in Zimbabwe in 1999. At a time when nations are scrambling for competitive advantage, very often at the expense of compensations and benefits to the labour force, the voice of labour must surely be heard. This Labour Link could play the critical role of watchdog in monitoring economic sustainable development efforts spearheaded by government or business groups.
